In a bid to enforce our ethos as a solutions driven institution geared towards the preservation of our cultural values by ensuring its pristine timelessness, we hinged our proposal on an age long building element which has predominantly defined and influenced the way we live and interact - The Courtyard.
In a bid to enforce our ethos as a solutions driven institution geared towards the preservation of our cultural values by ensuring its pristine timelessness, we hinged our proposal on an age long building element which has predominantly defined and influenced the way we live and interact - The Courtyard.
In our approach, we have provided a different perspective on the implementation of the Courtyard system through our adoption of internal and external courtyards with the former and the latter all linked to create a natural synergy.
Furthermore, in reverence to the Yoruba tradition, we have harnessed the unique geometric qualities of the Opon Ifa, a critical element in divination which is also said to be a precursor to the creation of the scientific compass through history.
Thus, our proposal aims to create a timeless edifice entrenched in the historic and African culture, and enhanced with the application of sustainable building practices via modern building technology
