House E is a holiday home nestled in the heart of Owerri, Imo state; a city renowned for its vibrancy and entertainment. The design process probed through contemporary human interactions and perceptions, with a view to infuse future possibilities. The outcome of these explorations birthed a design that would remain timeless while consciously enabling family togetherness and individualistic expression.
House E is a holiday home nestled in the heart of Owerri, Imo state; a city renowned for its vibrancy and entertainment. The design process probed through contemporary human interactions and perceptions, with a view to infuse future possibilities. The outcome of these explorations birthed a design that would remain timeless while consciously enabling family togetherness and individualistic expression.
A 6 -Bedroom Villa, it takes the form of two main living volumes that have been juxtaposed to maximize the peculiar and angled nature of the site. These distinct volumes are connected by a core that tactically segments the Site into a semi-public and private zone while also serving as a place of entry and transition.
For a well traveled client who has experienced different spaces and cultures, it was important that the function, ambiance, and aesthetic allow for flexibility and diversity in use and perception. To emphasize this White but Suggestive Canvass, earth tones and transparency were used as a skin to embody its unique quality.
